The "WALLONIA MEETS EU" (WALMEET.EU) platform set up by the Walloon Government aims to guide Walloon and Wallonia-Brussels stakeholders through the European funding landscape.
In addition to the General Delegation of Wallonia-Brussels, which is primarily involved in defending the interests of Wallonia and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation in the European Union's decision making process (see Who we are), WALLMEET.EU is active in the field of European funding opportunities and calls for tender, which implement the funding programmes of the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 and NextGenerationEU.

Among its missions, WALMEET.EU:

monitors the Commission's calls for proposals, which are summarised in a short fact sheet. This information will be available on a dedicated website from January 2024. This tool enables potentially interested field operators to decide whether or not to respond to a call.

also relays all information useful for taking a position in European initiatives.

is a platform that links operators and public authorities working on European funding.

directs people to operators who can help them set up projects.

provides assistance in certain cases, and organises networking events with the Commission and experts.
